Best Night Out In Prague

Thought I’d write this post cause I’m sitting in a hostel bar in Copenhagen waiting for my friend who will be here in 3 hours. That’s enough time to write an entry, no?? Maybe 2!! Who knows, don’t want to get too wild!
I went to this bar in Prague almost 5-6 weeks ago! I wanted to write about this cause it was the coolest bar I had been to (Berlin has now topped that but let’s pretend I wrote this on time and hadn’t been to Berlin yet, k? Cool.)
I went to Prague for 4 days and stayed at a hostel where I met tons of amazing people but didn’t really do a whole lot except drink a lot of cheap beer at the hostel. I then went to visit a friend from Toronto, living in Austria and came back to Prague to make my trip to Berlin more bearable. Say “no” to 17 hour bus rides 🙅🏻Luckily, my friend from Brussels was in Prague staying with his friend who lives there. So i basically invited myself over to the apartment. I met them at a cocktail bar. They had already ordered and were drinking out of a spray paint can and the other drink came in this fancy box! I told he server to bring me whatever and I ended up drinking out of a baby bottle and a stuffed panda bear accompanied it.
We then headed to this bar.
I was told that’s it’s called “The Dog House” But later found out it’s actually called “Vzorkovna” But I guess people call it the dog house? I dunno. Anyway, first thing you have to do is put money on a bracelet. This acts as your wallet for the night. You can always put more on or get back any you didn’t spend. We then walked down these stairs and was greeted by a bunch of hipsters on swings and this huge Irish wolfhound 😍 i immediately loved the place. You keep going and notice the walls are covered in graffiti, there’s dogs everywhere just runnin around, and bunk beds which means a lot of people can fit everywhere and live music! I took one photo and sent it to Jessica being like “LOOK AT THIS COOL BAR” and she said “honestly, if you didn’t explain to me everything it looks super sketchy” ahah! Which is very true. It’s definitely an underground, grungy bar. But it was so cool and I would go back over and over. And like, DOGS! DOGS AT BARS! And the music was pretty good! It was just a really cool vibe! Would recommend to any young people coming to Prague. Its one of those places if you want a kind of chill night, go there. If you want to dance, go there. If you want to pet dogs and swing on swings, GO THERE.
